Problem

Description:

Lack of time to buy healthy ingredients and cook homemade food drives families to turn to fast and processed foods. Also, they buy large packages for long-term consumption from chain stores causing wasting food.

Contributing Factors:

  •  High working hours
  • Lack of Knowledge about cooking healthy meals
  • Increasing cost of living

Scale of the problem:

Due to the increasing cost of living during 2023, the purchasing power of families may be decreased, which would be a problem for families who buy prepared food. It drives them to purchase low-quality foods.

Target Group

The target group is families who face time constraints due to their long working hours and need help preparing healthy meals daily. They may also need help managing their household inventories, leading to food waste and expired items.
